What You will Own-
You'll architect and deliver production-ready hardware for our next-generation payment terminal—from component selection through certification. This is full-cycle ownership: schematic capture, layout guidelines, EMI/EMC compliance, and factory bring-up.
The Tech Stack-
- Power Management: Battery charging systems, Power converters design topologies battery operated low current design concepts
- High-Speed Digital & Wireless: MIPI DSI, USB Host/OTG, SDIO, 4G/LTE modems, WiFi/BT coexistence, RF matching
- SoC/SoM & Power: ARM/Linux processor integration, multi-rail PMIC design, battery charging, <10µA standby modes
- Signal Integrity: EMI/EMC design for regulatory compliance (FCC/CE/BIS)
- Mixed-Signal: Audio amplifiers, ADC interfaces, sensor integration
What We Need
Must Have:
- 4-5 years in R&D-focused hardware design (Automotive/Consumer/Medical/Aerospace/Defense)
- Proven track record: Schematic → Layout Guidelines → Production validation
- Deep understanding: EMI/EMC mitigation, IPC standards, certification requirements
- Experience with: ARM/Linux SoCs, power management, battery systems
- Breadboard prototyping through DVT/PVT phases
Strong Plus:
- PCB layout design skills
- BOM cost optimization experience
- Familiarity with payment terminal/POS hardware
